Interview with Alfredo Garbugli, Garbugli Studio

What were the specific design requirements for this project?
We were looking for a company that could create all the surfaces and divisions within the space, in this case it was the floating floor, plasterboard partition walls, glazing and false ceilings. The main idea was based on having maximum formal and aesthetic cleanliness, in fact we asked CBI to match the colour of the walls to that of the profiles of the glazed walls, so as to give a feeling of continuity: in this specific case, being a medical practice, to communicate asepticity. The other request, which I would define as key, was that of the orange stop sol glass, which following careful research, we were able to realise with an external supplier and included in the CBI work. This last choice was the real cornerstone of the whole project.

How did CBI EUROPE support the design and implementation?
CBI supported us in managing the creation of all the surfaces listed above. Being able to rely on a single company for all the points mentioned, certainly simplified the management of the order. In addition, as I said, the willingness to follow the customisation of the systems in the catalogue played an equally important role.
